Jaká jsou rizika onemocnění Parkinsonovou chorobou?
Rizika existují, ale většinou se nemoc pozvolna objeví a nelze se tomu nijak ubránit. Neexistuje totiž žádná prevence. Samozřejmě zdravým a vyváženým životním stylem se nic nepokazí. Mezi rizikové faktory patří:
- Dědičnost. Pokud se už nemoc v rodině objevila, je zvýšené riziko jejího vzniku.
- Drogy. Bylo zjištěno, že heroin obsahuje určité látky, které mohou napomáhat vzniku Parkinsonovy choroby.
- Mikrotraumata v oblasti hlavy. Opakované údery a zhmoždění hlavy, např. u sportovců (box, bojové sporty) mohou vyvolat neurologické onemocnění.
- Otravy, toxické látky. Příliš častý styk s jedovatými látkami způsobuje změny v mozku.
